Bullet Girls Phantasia + Railshooter/TD
If you've played Bullet Girls Phantasia/Senran Kagura before, you know what type of fanservice to expect. However, because it's so cheap price-wise, there isn't much fanservice beyond outfit deterioration, extra cloth unlockables, flirty and highly suggestive dialogue. I feel like they could've went the extra mile to add something similar to BGP's "additional mode" (if you know, you know). I guess one could say it's more like the way Senran Kagura handles the goodies. Graphically, it doesn't *seem* to be censored. Dunno about the dialogue. It seems you have to unlock the "shorts" (guess it's the spats from the trailer). GAMEPLAY: To sum it up, you're stuck on a turret the whole game moving side to side shooting down alien baddies. Your goal is to protect your generators (up to 5) each "day", which ultimately powers up your super gun thing that automatically one-shots the final boss of a level, provided your generators survive its one-and-done power attack (which instantly nukes about 2-3 generators depending on type). Some gens are damage oriented and have lower gen speed, others pure gen speed. The roguelike aspect comes in with the traditional 3-choice stuff after a "day" ends (which lasts only a couple of seconds long). Choices cost money. The biggest problem here is that frequently higher priced choices eat up the options. For example, you can be on Day 3 and only have $1100, but the game will throw a $2700 or $3200 priced choice in your selection, sometimes two. C'mon man... And yes, you can re-roll, but there's a good chance the same thing will happen. Re-rolls also increase in cost exponentially and persists between runs. There's only 3(!) levels, technically 6. 3 normal stages, 3 endless versions of the normal stages. [PC Handhelds] Performance on Steam Deck is great. Got about 50-55fps at 11tdp @ 1080p, dipping with lots of enemies on screen (perhaps 30-40fps). On the Legion GO S (Bazzite), I'm unable to reach 60fps, even at max tdp at 1080p...?!
