You are walking down a street you don't recognize, the fog slowing your pace to a crawl as darkness blinds you. You pause and look up to see a house; candles flicker in every window, like a beacon. Climbing the few steps to the front door, you realize many years have passed since it was last opened – it has been sealed with rust and purpose. Inexplicably, just as you know the candles are for you, you know someone waits inside. Someone who has remained in that house since before the iron began to rust. They have been patient. Waiting for over two decades. Waiting for you.
True Fear: Forsaken Souls takes the best of the psychological thriller, blending in fun and intuitive gameplay mechanics. The cinematics, puzzles and hidden object phases have been carefully developed and are steeped in a unique and oppressive atmosphere. Episode 1, the first in a trilogy, will long be remembered.

Plan on going the same places many times, hoping to find something you didn't find the other 10 times. I've played similar games where logic guides you to solve the puzzles. Not here. You need luck or a walkthrough. I didn't get into the story either.
I've bought the game because of all the positive reviews, but I'm very disappointed. Beginning with the story with no logical reason. A main character, ready to follow her sister after reading the letter, finding abandoned place, where her sister should be and not even thinking about why the place is abandoned and that she will never find her sister there. All the stupid thoughts of the main character like "dark entry going down" (how do you know?) or "who has enlightened the candles?" (what you don't say?) or a refrigerator with a lamp in it ans such things. It's just very, very stupid.
I've played a hidden objects game, made in Poland, and it was factor 1000 better, much more logical, much more interesting, having interesting story.
I can't understand, people like this game. I would never recommend it to somebody.
