Don´t forget to keep a sharp eye on the dangers and side-effects of your absolute power! Obstacles lurk on around every corner, whether it’s militant revolutionaries bent on installing a communist junta, or the machinations of the superpowers USA and the Soviet Union, both of whom would like to see a more amenable ruler in strategically important Tropico!

It’s good to be El Presidente. As your “election” campaign said, “Vote El Presidente. Vote often!”

Tropico 1.66

As there is Tropico 4, $15 can be seen expensive for T3 is outdated. So, only buy if you can not wait for Tropico 4 DRM freed on GOG (Tropico 4 Modern Times is the true "Tropico 2").

Chipset error

Lot's of people have this problem with their video card. Make sure it'll work on your machine or you'll get robbed like I did.

The worse of the four first

Tropico 3 is the worse of all the first four tropico games. It is still somewhat fun to play, but if you compare it to Tropico 2 and 4, it sucks. No wonder the 4th came out really quickly after this one.
