Build railroads in order to connect cities, tunnels and bridges. New railways are cheap when laid across bare fields, but can be expensive when demolishing forests, villages and other existing structures.
Manage increasing traffic by constructing, switches, sidings and spurs so that multiple trains can run without delays, at the same time.
Stay accident-free by precisely controlling trains during crucial moments, using pause for planning (you can build railways and schedule trains while on pause).
Play through 4 seasons: Europe (1830–1980), America (1840–1960), USSR (1880–1980) and Japan (1900–2020).
Complete the story mode featuring such real-life events as the Gold Rush of 1849, the construction of the Florida Overseas Railroad, World War II, the Cold War, the launch of the first manned space flight Vostok 1 and more.
Explore the game in different game modes: in story mode (5-10 minutes), in random mode (15-20 minutes – the level looks and develops differently every time you launch) or in sandbox-like regime (can be turned on for both story and random modes. It allows to play without time and money limits).
Discover 15 types of trains – from early steam-powered locomotives to modern high-speed trains, driving 18 types of cars – from old-time passenger cars to hoppers and cisterns and to military-use tank and gun platforms.

Very nice game, works great. I would have loved to have a larger playground, but the rest is perfect. If you like trains and puzzles this game is for you.
A puzzle game with trains, where it is your job to make sure the red train goes into the red station, yellow into the yellow and so on. The game follows the evolution of the locomotive through history with gentle cartoonish graphics and a mellow soundtrack. The game eases you in with just a few simple slow trains but by the end, its multiple high speed ones to contend with!
Add on top of that, each level has several challenges to test your mettle and some of them are quite difficult! Though of course, if you prefer just watching trains move around a map, there is also a sandbox mode to play through after you complete the challenge version.
Generally quite a fun game to play and its nice to see each level follows historical points like WW2, The Space Race, Olympics and so on.
My only major criticism is (and this may either not have affected others or you don't care too much about them) is that the achievements are pretty broken. I've unlocked ones I haven't done and haven't unlocked others that I have done. Other than that, it can be a little repetitive - you've seen most of what the game has to offer about halfway through, but its still a fun journey to the end.
It's really fun and chill, got a bit addicted and played for hours haha.
Gets a bit unbalanced from time to time, mostly the challenges, had to skip a few because they mostly came down to luck, my perfectionist self still bashed her head against this wall over and over :s
That's the only downside I can think about, everything else is really good. Very much recommend, even more so if it's on sale.
This game is a puzzle alot like several classic railroad games from the 80s and 90s. Locomotion, Railroad works and a couple of others I can't quite remember. VERY AWESOME! Part 2 is even better!
I bought this game on a whim, thinking it would be a Railroad Tycoon clone, but it turned out to be a neat little puzzle game. Your objective is to lay tracks in a way that connects all stations as efficiently as possible, send as many trains along the tracks as fast as possible and, of course, avoid train crashes. It sounds simple but with topography getting in the way and stations facing in specific directions, some of the later levels can get tricky. The game is great fun though and, once I'm done with it, I'm definitely going to give Train Valley 2 a try. For the price of a cup of coffee (when on sale), I can't recommend this highly enough!
