Townscaper

This game is so relaxing and so beautiful. I really enjoy spending some time at the game before go to sleep.

It looked like this would be fun with its quirky artwork, but it reminds me of painting with legos and there is no game to it, and it gets super dull quickly. It was a great concept, and poorly executed. Do not buy unless you just want to draw cities out of cartoonish buildings.

I watched the video ad for Townscaper and it "pre-sold" me. I bought it as soon as it came up on GOG. Nothing to shoot or kill. Tranquil sound effects. Reminiscent of the Sim games and Cities In Motion (also available on GOG) but so much simpler. Challenging? Not really but might be the perfect gift for that city planner in the family. I don't play games on my phone but if I can easily imagine playing Townscaper while stuck in a gridlock on the Hollywood Freeway (actually, I play it on a 55" TV.) I got it here for $6. No brainer for a timekiller.

Purchased on advice from friend.. love it... a peace, no stress game. At the start u just 'dump'-'click' stuff into place.. but like a game of Othello.. it's very easy to learn .. but hard to master... ( I cant stop screen saving the images.. I might use as birthday card front.) As little touches to the game there are birds that react to changes. would love some balloons and planes...or even boats. Very happy with this .Very addictive
