A Decent "Dead Cells" Clone
This game have Castlevania mechanics and the rogue-like elements remembers me when i played Dead Cells. Visually is not great, but its gameplay is fun. The music can get tedious after some thime. Is slower than dead cells, this is not bad, if you have problem with fast paced games you probably will enjoy this one more. Many options to customize the skills of your avatar.

Dead Cells with Bloodstained aestethics
This game is basically Dead Cells with a Bloodstained aesthetics. Well, even a bit more than "just aesthetics", as it pulls in a light version of the Bloodstained attack mechanisms. (e.g. down-left-attack, down-up-attack etc.) On the downside, it's neither as good as Dead Cells, nor as good as Bloodstained. Not that those are fair comparisons; Tower Hunter is a game mostly made by three guys, for which it really exceeds expectations. Just set your expectations accordingly; the game is quite good but not great, whereas Dead Cells and Bloodstained are great. If you haven't played those two, well, do so first. When you have played them enough, and want for some change, then give Tower Hunter a go. There's one thing that I don't like in this game, and it's the roguelike level generator. The generated levels just feel 2x too big for what they offer; lots of completely pointless areas and dead ends that feel like a waste of time and a drag. The game doesn't get a good pacing as result of those overlong levels. (for reference, in Dead Cells I feel the levels size and pacing is "just right"; your opinions may vary...) The other minor gripe: the music. The music is actually *good*, very good even. But there's very few tracks (9 total, I think?) and it combines badly with the overlong pointlessly dragged levels. A track will repeat from start to end of a level, and it would be just right if the levels weren't so "filler-stuffed". But the levels drag on, until that one music track repeating overstays its welcome as much as the level itself. (shame, because it's good tracks otherwise) Those two gripes out of the way, all else is quite good. The graphics, the animations, the fights, the variety of attacks, the bosses, the "chips system" which lets you improve very specific aspects and capabilities, within limits, depending on how you like to play... The game certainly loses one star due to the above gripes, but it makes for fun gameplay otherwise.

========================================= ENGLISH: This game is the closest thing. Why don't I give it 5 stars? ++ The music is excellent. + Initially, it has 3 main weapons, but as you progress, you can choose to change them, so you don't have to specialize in one (if you want) (1). ++ I insist that it's the closest thing to Igarashi's game that you'll find currently on the market. ++ Very good graphics. ++ Decent controls. - The Spanish translation is... poor, but if you know English, that's fine. Now that takes points away. - Although I said it has very good graphics, well... it's obvious that they were half-baked. They're functional, but nothing more. - The story is basic, but hey, it works. - (1) But it only has 3 weapons. In "Bloodstained," you had tons. A recommended purchase, even though it could have been understood that I didn't. Now, the sequel "Frontier Hunter" is MUCH BETTER.

Decent Button Masher
Before I get into the game itself, I'll say this, for a Unity game, it actually plays smooth. Now for the game, reminds me of Bloodstained, which of course reminds most everyone of the "Vania" types that are all over the place. It looks pretty decent all things considered, plays pretty decent, though some weapon styles have distinct differences you need to adjust to. The sound is repetetive, but this isn't quite as big a game as the sequel. My only frustrating nitpick is the (un)subtle need to farm the crystals for upgrading early on in the game. Otherwise, it's not a bad 1st entry, certainly a lot worse out there. I give it 3/5 stars, with a kudos for a Unity usage that doesn't make me cringe.
