Description
The year is 1989 and deep in the sweltering heat of the Mayan jungle, camouflaged among the Inca ruins, Ernesto Cruz catches his breath for a few moments and admires his handiwork, bodies strewn across the temple ruins, as he makes a last gasp effort to board a DEA plane to take him to safety. He never made it home, the tragic victim of an alleged 'overdose’. Two weeks later, Ernesto's son, Ramiro Cruz is hauled out of jail by the DEA to be told his twin brother, Tommy, works for them as an undercover agent and has some new information about their father's death. But, Tommy has had an accident with a hand grenade and now Ramiro must take his brother's place in an undercover operation closing in on the ruthless drug cartel overlord Papa Muerte.

Best third person game
Story, the characters, the bgm and cool shooting moves makes the game one of my most loved games. I played it for the first time in 2010 in CD's era. Recently I've played this game again, happy to refresh old memories. The soundtrack of this game was soo awesome, the Mexican and American songs mixture, full of rap and rock.

Super fun with a few minor flaws
This is a really fun somewhat hidden Mexploitation game from Danes, no less. Very much a product of its time. The mission setpieces are mostly very fun, with a few of them, accompanied by bombastic tunes by Molotov (which was such an excellent choice), being especially inspired and exhilarating. The Escort the Trucks - The Ambush - Saving Angel triptych of missions, really the centerpiece of the whole game, is alone worth playing the entire game for. Worth mentioning that there are very little frustrating moments in the entire game that make you want to drop it forever (looking at you, Vice City Stories), and for that it's a very relaxed experience.
