Drew Blanc is a cartoon animator and the original creator of the Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show.. Drew's boss, Sam Schmaltz (played by Ben Stein), sets him the task of designing more bunnies to co-star in the Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show by the next morning. However, the depressed animator soon nods off, suffering from acute artist's block. He wakes early the next morning to inexplicably find his television switched on, announcing the Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun Show. Suddenly, Drew is mysteriously drawn into the television screen and transported to an idyllic two-dimensional cartoon world populated by his own creations, among many other cartoon characters.
To get home, you'll need to unravel the secrets of these loony lands before they unravel you permanently. Outsmart demented clowns, shock the socks off cross-dressing livestock, and match wits with a diabolical Count named Nefarious. It's a mind-reeling toonatopia that'll have you acting so depraved you might even shock yourself. Send someone an exploding turkey. Watch Spike the Clown torture balloon animals. If you've got any energy left after those escapades then try and prevent an all-out war between the cartoon forces of good and evil. Word to the wise: BETTER PACK AN ANVIL!
A weird and whacky world filled with an insane asylum's worth of bizarre characters - and that's just the humans!
Starring Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future, Taxi) and featuring the vocal talents of Dan Castellaneta (TV's Homer Simpson), Dom DeLuise (All Dogs Go To Heaven I & II), and the inimitable Tim Curry (Gabriel Knight, Rocky Horror Picture Show)!
Over 40,000 of classic 1990s animation and over 75 unique locations crammed full of puzzles!
OMG the fun! This was a genuinely fun game, that made me feel like I was actually INSIDE a Sunday cartoon! Challenging at some points, but also one of the very few adventure games that I didn't have to look at a walkthrough for a puzzle solution. This game has rightly earned a place in my all-time-favorites list. Highly recommended!
This is a game I'd heard about, but never played, back in the days when it was released, so when I saw it on GOG, I thought I'd give it a shot, based solely on the talents involved. At first, I was impressed - great vocal talents, wonderful actors, good production quality (for the age), and some excellent experimental steps with the FMV. And, like most LucasArts games of that era, it walked that line between "good clean fun" and "yeah, your kids really shouldn't play this." The puzzles were mostly well-thought out, though there are often moments of "just try everything in your inventory until something works."
It's the second act, however, where the game loses its luster. The entire act felt rushed, poorly written and scripted, and even had full-on bugs that were never corrected (just walked around). Even the artwork and acting seemed of a significantly lower quality (which is truly sad, as that's where most of Tim Curry's lines appear).
Although I was entertained for most of the game, I still couldn't justify giving it a higher rating, simply because something that invested that much into the talent should have produced a far more satisfying ending.
..a young me got this with one of those "Loads of older games in a box" collections. It had the right amount of cheesy humor and the talent to deliver all of it.
And then some. The background are beautifully drawn, the animations are just good enough to sell the game's charm. And some of the voice lines stuck with me for all those years. This is a good point-and-click for those who want to re-live the days, but not think too much.
Also there is Tim Curry. How can you not love Tim Curry?
This is one of the first games i ever played on PC! At the time, it was on two CDs and the 2nd was a bit scratched so i didn't get to play the ending! And here, after 20 years i found it on GOG! This is a wonderful charming and really fun game!
