Great remasters.
Excellent remasters of wonderful games. They run and play fine when i played them the capped frame rate on classic mode appears to have been removed. The controls functioning properly as frustrating as Tank controls can sometimes be i question the reason for adding "modern controls" as on the couple of occasions i tried to use them, they seem to make the game unplayable and i am certain there are secrets that would not be accessible with them. Otherwise well worth the money at full price or on sale and looking forward to the next trilogy!

Very fun experience with flaws
I didn't grow up with these games so I can't say I have sentiment for them but I have a lot of fun playing them. I play on PC and modern controls work amazing, However -biggest flaw of modern controls is that we don't have complete manual for them. I found out how to drop while crouching on Reddit( Alt(WALK)+S(BACKWARD)+left mouse button(GRAB) . I still don't know how to activate turbo on Quad Bike which is crucial for passing the level. -TR1 quieter than other games which I think is primarily due to steps being extremely quiet. At times it's like playing a silent game. -The games are fairly dark which, lighting could use improvement. I think older games handled it better. A lot of pick ups blend into the environment and its easy to miss them, especially in TR1. It could also be due to textures but I'm not sure. Other items like levers, monkey bars and switches are also harder to spot. Sometimes, nearly impossible forcing you to switch to old graphics -old graphics make use of complete darkness to cover secrets or items compelling you to use flares but remasters don't handle these well. Ex. In Venice level after you get on the boat there's a room with Jade Dragon at the bottom. In OG it's too dark to spot it, but in remasters the entire area is perfectly lit and you can see the bottom just fine along with the secret. During Aldwych level you need to turn on power to turn on the lights and while it makes a difference in OG graphics it's hardly noticeable in remasters. Sidenote, it'd would be amazing to be able to look up all level loading screens in the 'EXTRAS' in Main Menu. Overall, great remasters but could use some more polishing.
