Tomb Raider GOTY

The game is great i would give it 5 stars if there wasnt any bugs, i stoped winning achievements at 54%, surely i did 100%. Maybe its just me, but give it a shoot. You wont regret unless you got the same problem.

If you think it is better than Tomb Raider underworld, you will be disappointed. Why? GOOD: Graphics are nice. Lara is on an early stage of her life. Action cutscenes are sometimes truly memorable. Learn new skills and techniques as the story unfolds or as Lara learns to survive. BAD: The game is like a Call of Duty tunnel action story driven. Too few puzzles for a tomb raider game. Surrounding believable (mass/weight) physics and Lara's capabilities are at there worst, truly and mostly stupid and unbelievable. Example: Lara can not pull a heavy bell toward her, but suddenly, for the sake of the puzzle, she will succeed against contrary strong wind force? No Multiplayer.

They butchered Lara by changing her backstory into being an abuse survivor and giving her the personality of a plank of wood. This is fitting since her body type is just as flat now. No puzzle solving or god forbid tomb raiding to be found here, just teen melodrama with a dash of quick time events. Unfortunately this trend continues in the reboot trilogy with each new iteration adopting more woke talking points and even worse story telling. Do yourself a favor and just play the original games where Lara was a based and hot MC.

I fully understand that this new edition of Tomb Raider is not for everybody. I played the original Tomb Raider and I like the reinvented Tomb Raider much more. A lot of fun.

I play it again on my MSI gaming pc with new Windows 11 Pro 22H2 and new SSD install and everything is super fast without any lag and I can set everything to ultimate settings.
