Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts have rather odd jobs: they give dying people another chance to live. Literally. Using a technology that allows artificial memories to be implanted, the doctors can weave and transform the mind of a patient to help them live the life they wanted to live...
To The Moon follows Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts' attempt to fulfill the wishes of a dying elderly man, Johnny. In their attempt to do so, they travel deep through the man's memories, unfolding his curious life story before their eyes. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the fragmented events that spanned a lifetime, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish.
Johnny's last wish is, of course, to go to the moon.

I'm not sure if this can be called a "game" is more like an experience in whick you're merely an observator, don't get me wrong there is some gamplay mechanics but are so simple that is hard to call this as a videogame; nonetheless it's the only game that made me cry. So, buy if you are looking for a silly love story or a dramatic experience; if you're looking for deep gameplay mehcanics this is not for you.
I no longer remember when is the last I feel so sentimental for a story. How luck one is to find someone worth seeking for, even if it means he/she needs to fly to the moon.
To put it short and simple, this is more like an short experience to see through than game.
I think story is clever and enjoyable take on final wish before death; find reasoning behind the wish, how it develops and if that wish will ever be fulfilled.
This is one of those stories which you must see through at least once during your lifetime.
Some people have mentioned this in their reviews, but I don't really see very many where it is the focal point of the review.
This game is painstakingly slow and utterly repetitive...including both the gameplay and the soundtrack, which I noticed some raving about. I actually like the main musical motif, but it is repeated ad nauseum.
After I played for about an hour I realized there is NO ACTUAL GAMEPLAY, but rather a storyline you walk through by aimlessly clicking random, very obvious objects and, many times, you are rewarded by just literally WALKING.
One can try and skew this is a good "indie" game but, in my opinion, advancing to the next level because you walked to an area where, many times, an arrow is literally telling you where to walk, is lazy programming.
The throwback style looks great, and I am somewhat intrigued by the storyline, but there is NO WAY I'm going to spend ~4 hours clicking origami rabbits and arrows to uncover the mystery.
