Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

Back in the time, I had to create my own saving utility for this game, because there was a bug that caused that saves were corrupted quite often and the only way how to play was to begin the whole adventure from the beginning. Is this bug fixed ? Graphics was/is really good (great sceneries), atmosphere too, gameplay was a little dull but challenging, which is good. I will add 1 star and buy this game, if the save bug is fixed.

Title say it all. The games wants to be challenging but throwing opponents at you with the capability of killing you with 1-3 hits is just annoying. Especially with the really clumsy controls. If you click on or hover your cursos on impassable areas the character stops following just stands there and dies. You get really low amounts of xp even from higher lvl enemies and quests so you have to go through the same areas multiple times to lvl up enough to have a chance at all. Aaaand the maps/mobs only reset if you quit to the main menu and the maps/dungeons are not random, they are alyways the same. The variety of enemies and weapons is a disappointment. Not to mention the fact that 99,99% of the loot is garbage. So to get better drops you should increase the difficulty but it's only possible if you finish the base game AND the dlc-s. Practically multiple time. And the game is really not good enough for that. So, clearly it was a mistake buying it even on sale. Even Diablo 3 was better. At least it had some cool cutscenes and some original story and it let's you enjoy the game. I really don't get why some ppl make games to cause frustration. It was supposed to be fun. Anyways, I'd avoid it.

Despite fixes being posted online that apparently work. I can not get the game to run. These games should work without having to adjust command lines and tweak windows. Have contacted GOG about a refund. No response. Reluctant to ever purchase a game from this site again.

Keeps crashing on start up Stay Away, Stay Away can't say it enough Stay Away

I've never reviewed a game before, but I'm livid. The installer for this game managed to completely break the display for Windows 10. My screen's colors became washed out to the point that I could not read any text in Windows. I tried my best to restore the settings prior to installing the game, but I could not read anything on the screen - even manually adjusting my monitor's settings couldn't resolve the problem. Ultimately, I had to perform a system restore, losing tons of data - and several hours from my weekend. So buyer beware: installing this game may bring you far more grief than enjoyment.
