Needs improvement, missing features
An OK RPG though it does suffer some problems. I wanted to like it for the lore but the problems ruined it, had to uninstall for now after doing the Greek Chapter. Some of the Cons 1 - Sometimes in combat it is hard to target enemies compared to other similar RPGs. Sometimes I try to move to melee combat only to have my character run past the enemy. Much easier how other RPGs that came before this one did it where you click on an enemy instead of an area. 2 - I discovered some item buffs are stronger than others. While elemental resistances have uses against certain enemies, the value of more generic buffs like Health and Energy regen is almost OP making it easy to go against a number of enemies. Poison damage on any weapon is also highly beneficial over most others. Once I got items with these buffs I passed over many others even if those other items gave better stats like armor. 3 - Enemies are imbalanced especially when you get items with the stats I mentioned. I discovered most creatures I could mow through groups of them almost never using potions. At the other extreme some of the unique one-of-a-kind monsters are too strong even early in. Example, you can meet Cerberus early on and he can one shot you even on the easiest mode, I searched and discovered many other players had the same problem. 4 - I do not understand why there are so many unique one-of-a-kind monsters, there is no special benefit to fighting them besides bragging rights, most are not part of any quest not counting the few involved in the main quest. 5 - You can only have 1 game ever saved and it only loads your character at certain locations. Compared to other RPGs that came before it and the features they offer such as NWN, Bladur's Gate and Icewind Dale series, this one lacks a lot of good features.
