Description
The game is set in a land where common physics apply, but everything else looks different. You are Tiny, a nerdy inventor with a ray cutter, a gripping-device, a ton of rockets, and a fine attitude towards the world. But now your arch-nemesis Big stole the only thing your beloved grandpa left you: a nice pair of white, finely ribbed underpants! And he‘s surely up to no good. Why else would he take them to that forsaken desert? No one ever goes there, it’s called “that forsaken desert” for a reason. Sure, no one remembers why. But still--up to no good!

Anyway, now it’s up to you to save the worl--erm. Save the underpants! So fire up that homemade raygun (You invented it!) and take your annoying jibber-jabbering backpack to accompany you. The taxi to the desert is waiting! Meet mysterious creatures, a taxi robot, and your arch enemy: Big!

Immerse yourself in this comic-styled jump-and-slice indie platformer that gives you the unique ability to shape the whole world at your will. So run, jump, drag, push, and laser your way through ancient scenery and get back those undergarments before Big accomplishes something that’s No Good!
  • Unique sandbox gameplay – use a grappling rope, advanced rocket science, and sophisticated laser surgery to slice ‘n’ dice the entire world, overcoming all obstacles in your own unique fashion.
  • Follow Tiny into a bizarre and hilarious adventure and embark on an epic quest to get back grandpa's underwear. Yes, you read that correctly.
  • Lovingly hand-crafted textures, superb crosshatch-styled shading, and dynamic sound and text effects put you right in the middle of a graphic novel!

another indie effort that paid off

I know a lot of people are complaining about the game's length, and rightfully so. I also know lots of other people have been comparing this game to Psychonauts, and that seems to upset even more people. I'm not here to dismiss the game's shortcomings on the account that it's an "indie game", since indie games tend to be more and more polished, these days. Mind you, the game does have its flaws, just like any other game does, and the thing is: is this your kind of game? For me, it is. I assume the game seems, sometimes, to be more style than substance, but that was to be expected, since one of the 6 people behind it is an underground comic artist, and I have nothing against spending 2 to 3 hours in a world this beautiful and appealing. The soundtrack is amazing, even by big studio standards, by the way, and collecting tapes is fun and refreshing. Plus, while the game itself is, indeed, quite short, there's no denying the sheer amount of FUN you'll have just exploring this world the guys at Black Pants created for us to play in -- cutting rocks, rocketing stuff away, pushing and pulling with your latch-on cable is incredibly amusing, and that, plus the comic style and the superb soundtrack should make any indie game fan buy this cult gem of a game -- especially since this is the GOG version, and not the Steam one, thus being cheaper, DRM-free and with a whole LOT of extras to boot.

Short but definitely fun!

This game has very interesting physics mechanics involving a rocket for pushing, rope for pulling, and laser for cutting. The options for altering the world abound, and the game has a variety of achievements available to increase replay value. Other than a little bit of unnecessary written language, the game was excellent and recommendable for its unique qualities!

Innovative and fun

I'm not sure which genre I'd put it into if I had to. It's a puzzly 3D platformer where most of the world can be reshaped by cutting and replacing parts of it in order to give you enough ground and ramps to get wherever you want to (lots of hidden stuff of course). It's a game that uses the 3D environment as a sandbox for cutting pieces out of it to form your own puzzle. There is lots of stuff to find, multiple ways to shape your surroundings in order to get everywhere, nice and not so hardware demanding graphics, overall a very nice game which is worth too much to shove it into every third bundle, although this is what happens.

What a fun little game!

Fresh, different, stylish, with a great indie soundtrack! A truly unique arcade/adventure/platformer. It's duration is indeed on the short side, but if you wait for a discount you 'll surely get your money's worth (everything under 5 euros is fair in my opinion). The game gains even more playtime if you go for all the achievements. I usually don't go for the achievements, but being quarantened due to the Covid pandemic I went for it, and it made the game feel longer, and the exploration more fulfilling. Laser-cutting your own paths through the levels is an absolute joy! Granted, the 1000 boring stones achievement is a bit ridiculous but the are quides online that can help. The soundtrack is really great in its bizarreness and makes a perfect accompaniment to the game. The one and only track that is given as a "goodie" with the game is probably the worst (it is stylized as a GameBoy chip tune), but you can find a method for Extracting the soundtrack from the Forum discussion. The artbook given is a welcomed addition, and it contains some visual hints about the game. All in all, a very pleasant experience

A great concept not put to good use

The idea and mechanics behind this game are a true breath of fresh air. The same goes for the ruvid and comic-like graphics. Sadly, some huge faults make it quite a bad game in the end. The cut and pull gameplay is awesome, in theory. But it's not precise, and sometimes the physics seem to behave very strangely. Jumping around is also quite awkward - and the camera doesn't help at all. Combine this with ridiculous specs (this game stutters badly at 720x576 lowest quality on my computer, where instead I can run Skyrim at 1400x1050 - very good quality - without any issues) and here we have a true waist of some great ideas.
