Quite funny.

This is a very simple point click adventure game about two guys who go on mad wacky adventures. It`s really a comedy duo thing. I did chuckle at some stuff such as when I clicked on him to get a book and he says, to paraphrase, " Books are a thing of the past, video games are where it`s at, Grandpa!" Also expect much careless British humour which I do like. Alot. Graphics are super simple intentionally, sound straight forward and I actually really liked the music. Only problem for me is the game screen is small, I can`t get it to full screen. Is that intentional? For the price and as a bit of levity, it`s a fair buy.

Amazing first game, okay second one

Ben there, Dan that was an amazing freeware adventure, a loveletter and a parody of the classic (mostly LucasArts) adventure games. It wasn't very long and had it's issues, but it was fun, as long as it should've been and, at that time, free. Although, even the newer enhanced version is still fantastic, free or not. Time gentlemen, Please! on the other hand, feels to be dragging forever without any real fun at quite a few points of the game. The humour has also became much more "body liquid" focused and, in my opinion, not in any worthwhile way - just gross and unfunny. And, on top of that, you had to pay for it. Not a lot, but it still felt strange, while playing these games back to back, how a free game was so much more fun than a paid for one in these series. Still, some people might enjoy in the second game, what I didn't and this package is worth it just for Ben there, Dan that alone anyway.

My Favorite Adventure Game Ever

I'll Keep it short and to the point This is in my top 10 games ever for its humor and qwerkyness Puzzles make sense when you work them out, there is some well hidden easter eggs too, unlike some adventure games I find myself returning to this one over and over again!

Hilarious, clever, flawed

Those two are definately among the funniest games I've played. The dialogues are hilarious, the stories absurd and fun. The graphica are rudimentary, but fit the tounge in cheek style very well. All in all it's two great game easily worth more than 5$. The only problem, and this can be frustrating, is that while most of the puzzles in both games are quite sensible and can be reasoned out, about halfway through the second game there is a jarring shift to multi-layered, nonsenscial puzzles impossible to figure out without a walkthrough. Still, that can be expected of a game so very much oldschool, and these are as close to the classic adventure games of yore as You will find.

Most boring adventure I ever played

The positiv aspects: Easy to play. Just take everything you can get, even if you don't know why. Each part of the game is really simple, because there are only few rooms with few objects. The game is short. Negative aspects: I can't get it started in FullHD, because "there is no driver" so I play it windowed in a smaller resolution. The dialogs start to run through from time to time, so you can't read them. Easy to handle: Just save and reload. The dialogs are very long. I can't say they are not funny... I found two jokes, I could smile about. And a lot of mediocre jokes about dirt, testicle and dirt. Did I mention dirt? Not often enough. Okay, you can read long, really boring dialogs if you like that if not you have to click through them. Then just take a look at the story: Ben is dead and must be revived with a rocket in his ass. Yeah! Fun! And then we are back home and want to watch TV. That's really a fantasic start and I loved to help them to watch TV. I even thought about quitting the game and watching TV myself. Next, we just made the TV work again, we are ported to a spaceship with doors to many dimensions. Everywhere is a single item that works as a key. Yeah! So cool! Not! I won't spoiler the rest for those who like to play it, but it won't get any better. Coming to audiovision aspects of the game. To be honest, I had to start the game again when writing this review because I forgot all about it. So I visited some places again and... yes, it has sound. The graphics are not my style. I don't mind simple or retro graphics, but the animations and graphics don't catch me. They are awful and they don't even support the jokes. So, is the bundle of two games worth 4 Euros, you might ask yourself. To be true it's not that question. The question is, do you really got two or three hours of your lifetime for such a substandard game with drunkard humor? If you don't, don't buy it, don't play it.
