An enjoyable game with a engaging story
Firstly I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoyed gwent and craves for more story content about the witcher world. Both the main and side quests are wonderfully worked around the card styled combat and will effect future events. The characters are intresting and well voiced (especially love Barnabas). Although I do wish there was more of a reason to visit in the tarven tent as the only reason to go in there is to talk to them about once per chapter. I also loved the addition of the morale system. The morale system in short will effect your armies combat strength depending on moral choices. This means occasionally (unfornately not as often as I would have hoped) you will have to make a tough choice to either be a kind leader or to please your troops so you can survive the next encounter. Overall it is a very enjoyable game with few flaws. Hoped this has helped.

Came for Gwent, stayed for great story.
In truth I just bought Thronebreaker because here on GOG it comes with a load of free goodies for the multiplayer game Gwent, such as premium card kegs and unique cards. But when I started playing I was hooked by the story very quickly. Well written plot, characters and great voice acting makes for a gripping experience that I simply loved playing through. The one downside is that I did come across a handful of puzzles (there are battles and puzzles) that I wasn't able to solve without looking up a Youtube video for it. But that was a minor annoyance in the grand picture. Plus, with some hard puzzles that I did manage to solve on my own it did give a nice feeling of accomplishment. If you like RPG's and/or collectable card games this is a definite recommendation. And of course get it on GOG, as Steam doesn't give the Gwent goodies.
