Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

1st the gameplay. I was expecting a fun deck building experiance with all the positives the Witcher lore had to offer. What I got was disapointment. The game so far has two major elements 1. Wander around the map clicking on stuff to get more resources. 2 Puzzle battles that have nothing to do with your customized deck and only have one linear solution. The actual battles where you use your deck with standard rules simply do not exist. 2nd the story/RPG. The story is impossable for me to get into. I simply cannot role play a queen that runs around doing stupid menial tasks for tiny little towns. What queen concerns herself with some stupid love plans of 2 town lovers? What queen cares about some sick cow? What queen scaviges for tiny amounts of gold and wood and is more poor than the common peasants? I swear I find more money in a bush discarded than my nations treasury contains. 3rd whats the point? Why am I upgrading my deck? Why am I upgrading my camp? I feel like a normal gwent game with standard rules using my standard customized deck is the side game. Puzzles an special rule encounters with only one path to victory is the main game. So the question I have is why bother upgrading my deck or camp or wander around picking up trash from peasants if I cant even use it?

It has potential to be quite a good game, but I expected much more. The story i good, but the battles are terrible. If you do not do exaclty right you fail, and you get no hint or anything what you should be doing. Why change the gwent from witcher 3? That was far superiour. I wouldn't bother buying it, maybe if it s pathced and the battles are improved

- Very, I mean VERY, lacking in informative in-game tutorials levels/info - The cards used in the game do not have clear descroption on what they do and how/when to use them - Out of the above points, unclear logic of the game + Good voicing + Good art illustrations, and that's it, for me I had bought this game with a huge discount. But now am regretting every cent I spent on this over-hyped poor-quality work milked from the Witcher's theme
