Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

I can't say more than all my predecessor. It's a card game essentially, I beat most of the game with the same deck, except the last boss. So it's not so challenging and sometimes I felt it annoying in the end when I encounter many two rounds battle. But the game shines in his storytelling that is worth to come back on the world of the witcher! I hope this game will ge enough successfull to see more witcher's tale in the future! Believe me, it's worth the price!

For everyone who likes gwent and a great story (although the gwent part might be a little easy for experienced gwent players)

What a great game! I loved almost everything about it. One of the best games of 2018 for me. A small remark to the difficulty level of the game (I have completed it on the hardest difficulty): - Combat, with exception to puzzles with predefined cards, is super easy. Everything except for the final fight is just me smashing AI and destroying their deck 0 to 100+.,The final fight is only difficult due to the OP ability of the enemy commander, but you can easily overcome it by building your deck in a smart way.. If you are a Gwent player I'd advise to skip the fights after act 1 or 2 and just go for the story (which is great) as the battles are just pure waste of time after a short while.

Like a soaked sponge, this game is saturated with epic, unexpected and enthrawling content. I look forward to the next installment!

It's impossible not to expect a beautiful, complex and unique game from CDPR. Thronebreaker is no different: the simplified version of Gwent mesh well with the story they're telling and allows some new puzzle challenges that are surprising but not impossible. The Witcher's grimdark fantasy sense is still here, although it feels a bit edgier and darker at some points. Unnecessarily so. The bit main feature that tilted me to the point of not knowing if I want to finish this game is the way the devs seems to micromanage how (they think) you should enjoy their game, you like it or not. Only one slot for autosave and god forbid you want to save scum. It's a backwards thinking of "everyone must play on ironman and face consequences, because!". In the end, this is still a game and the most important choice: how I want to play it, is blocked by the way the saving system was made.
