Excellent!
One of the most elegant, simple - yet surprisingly complex, polished and entertaining title. Ever.

A solid experience
I was pretty hyped about the game before it came out and I'm happy to stay that it did not disappoint. The story itself is pretty standard, but the characters involved are so interesting and have their own personality. At first, I was most excited in seeing what Geralt's role was in the game and not all too interested in Meve and her company, but as I played the game I gradually came to like all the characters. The game also gives you decisions that are, most of the time, difficult and have consequences which I love. The mechanics of the game are also quite simple to follow and mirror the online version of the game. However, I found myself enjoying the puzzles more than the standard Gwent matches. If I were to give this game a negative critique it would be the difficulty, it was rather easy throughout the game even if I had the difficulty at its highest. At the same time, the boss battle with general Ardal aep Dahy was much harder than any of the other battles in the game. This was because they basically gave him a greater advantage than just making him more intelligent. Not a problem in itself, but the spike in difficulty was rather strange. It might've been better to have several bosses that were like him to make people get used to that challenge rather than coming from nowher. (Slight spoiler here) I also felt that the story got quite rushed towards the end, specially after you meet Geralt. The pacing changes and suddenly you are pushed through the final arc of the story. Not a major drawback, but it felt rather strange since the story had a slower pace in the beggining which I liked. Overall, if you like the Witcher universe, lore and Gwent, then you should definetly buy this game. Even if you aren't familiar with Gwent, but can see yourself playing it and a fan of RPGs then I say go for it. This is a game that just might get your interests piqued into a fantastic franchise.

Fantastic game, but a bit too easy
Every aspect of the game is awesome, the only thing I can think of that is bothering me is that the game is not rly that hard. I've played it on hard difficulty but even then only some of the puzzle battles were challenging to some extent.

a great journey
I don't usually buy a card game. I'm not a card game player. And I don't really want to play gwent (before and after playing this one). But I really like stories, and rpg. The story here, is really well written Choice have consequences, and we really feels it. The card game here support the narrative experience, we have the impression of controlling an army without playing a long RTS. I play in hard mode, and the game is still accessible (but hard, it's smart hard). My only concern is when you find a good deck, you don't really need to adapt that much. And game can be a bit repetitive. And we cannot save deck, so I don't want to make too many change. tl:dr: Great stories with impactful choice, smart game, can be repetitive at the end.
