Thimbleweed Park

This Point & Click adventure game proudly carries the soul of its classic predecessors (which may also make it feel a bit aged.) Humour is nice, and there's plenty of popular (& more niche) references. Interface may feel a bit wonky for players used to newer games. My main complaint would be the un-intuitiveness of being able to control several people at the same time without mattering who you choose (except for the rare moments when it does matter). There is sadly also presence of some moon-logic puzzles. Luckily the devs implemented an in-game hint system (except for one case where you'd apparently need to see their Kickstarter video??). The game leans too much on 4th wall breaking and kindof pulls the enjoyment and immersion out of me. In the end: a solid P&C experience - with mostly subjective drawbacks.

I just started playing this awesome adventure by mastermind Ron Gilbert and I can already say: "I want more of the same!" Ron, when's your next adventure game coming out?

A really great game.

As a fan of adventure games like Monley Island and Day of the Tentacle, I have thoroughly enjoyed Thimbleweed Park. The game exceeded my expectations. The story is intriguing, the puzzles are smart, the art is beautiful. A delightful experience after more than 10 years without playing videogames. Hopefully Ron Gilbert and company publish new games like this one soon. I can't wait to play the next one.
