Possibly the WORST RTS Game EVER!!!
I wish there was a way to give this game ZERO stars. I should have taken advice from the negative reviews and saved myself $30 and the time I wasted playing it. There's absolutely nothing innovative about this game. It's just another build and battle RTS just the same as the ones that have been around for decades. If that's what you're looking for, than I'd suggest just sticking to the classics like Warcraft, Starcraft, Dawn of War (the first one), etc. The graphics of this game are a joke, even compared to those older games. The biggest disappointment is the difficulty in the early stages of the game. I'm all for a good challenge, and "getting gud" in order to win in the later parts of a game, but this game was ridiculously hard even on the easiest setting in the first mission of the game. I've been playing RTS games since the 90s, and I've never had such difficulty just trying to survive through the early missions. If you don't have your weak little "Rangers" (the only unit you have at first) in exactly the right place when the zombies attack your village, then it's all over in a few seconds. They quickly spread the zombie plague through your village , which turns all your villagers into zombies. You're little Rangers are then quickly outnumbered and killed off quicker than you can possible produce more. The zombies then destroy your main building and you lose. I'm sure if I stuck with it, I'd eventually get good enough to win each mission, but as I've already mentioned, there's nothing new about this game. You just build buildings, collect resources, build an army, defend your village, and try to kill the enemy before they kill you. I'm fine with all that, but better companies made better RTS games than this one 10 to 30 ago, and those games are still way better than this one. I'm so disappointed in this game, I've made a note of the manufacturer's name (Numantian Games), just to make sure I don't accidentally buy any more of their crap in the future.
