The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

I've been a long time fan of Bethesda Elder Scrolls open worlds since Morrowind, and aside from that game Oblivion and Skyrim while huge and enjoyable lacked in the writing department. The Witcher 3 is the open world rpg I've been waiting for since Morrowind. This past year I played the Witcher trilogy for the first time and this game is by far the best one. The world is huge and even after over 100 hours of play I still have not seen it all. The npc's are intriguing and most quests are interesting even the misc ones. In the first game Geralt was an emotionless monotone robot. In the second game he got a bit better. But in the third game he has vastly improved no longer does he sound like an emotionless monotone robot. He actually has feeling and his father/daughter relationship with Ciri is great. Talking about Ciri, Geralt is a great fighter but Ciri is a beast in combat. There are points in the story where you will control her and when you do the game is basically God mode. I like that with some monsters we are able to end things peacefully and without bloodshed. That is one of my favorite parts of the series. It shows not all monsters are Monsters. The graphics still look great in 2022. The music as always is great. The quests like I said are well written. NPC's like Yennefer and Ciri are interesting. One of the biggest improvements is this time we have a horse to traverse the vast landscape. My only complaint is that 90% of the time it rains and rains 24/7 taking away from the beauty of the landscape. The dlc's Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine are amazing and the latter dlc is a fitting finish to Geralt's journey. Both dlc's are well written and the npc's are amazing as well. Anyway I can go on and on about how amazing this game is. This game was proof of what can be accomplished with dedication and no exec's butting in. Buy this game. Buy this game now! You will not regret it I promise!

The best game I've ever played so far. A 10/10 masterpiece. It has been 10 years since the release and 9 since I've finished my first playthrough and I still cannot find a game that would beat it. RDR2 was extremely close when it comes to reality and immersion but fell short when it comes to cut scene facial animations (there weren't enough emotions in the cutscenes in my opinion) and gameplay. I truly hope TW4 will be as realistic (extremely strong slavic medieval world foundation with fantasy elements added on top) and immersive as this masterpiece, and that it will have as good facial animations in the cutscenes. I also hope it will have an extremely well written dialogs and characters. We'll see in the future. For now this is the game to beat.

Unstable, poorly optimized and buggy, it will need a lot of fixes before being on part with the "game of the year" edition.

I've been a Witcher Fan ever since i read the Sapkowsky Books. When Witcher 1 and 2 came out, i lost myself in them. I've been waiting for so long for Witcher 3 to release and held all my expectations high on CDP-R and what can i say .. they overthrew it and made it even better than imagined. This game, without doubt is a great ART masterpiece! Literally everything is in concept and just perfect. The beautiful graphics, sound and music design, deep and believeable characters - everything. If you never played games like this before - play Witcher 3 and have the bar set so high, no game will ever reach it. As a gamer for over 20 years now i can definitely say, this has been the best game i've played in the past 20 years.
