Still Worth It

Going through it a second time now. Man, if something happened to my copy, I know it won't/can't, I'd still shell out another 50 bucks for this massive, massive game. The story, IMO, is totally immersing...it's like you're living the game, not just playing it. The graphics are still amazing to me, so clear and vivid. CDPR really made this game shine with everything they put into it. Voice acting is fantastic, the characters are unique. The Xbox One controller I have jives perfectly with this game making gameplay smooth and fluid. I don't think I can top what most everyone has said already but, playing it a second time now, I just had to comment. If you are one of the few people who love RPGs but still haven't played this game and maybe you're worried about dropping 50 bucks on a game you aren't sure you'll like, you are cheating yourself out of one of the best, if not the best, RPGs of all time. I always Google gameplay for any game I buy, this game being no different, and was almost immediately hooked after I watched the gameplay for Witcher 3. This game became an obsession for me. It's a game which will stay with you and definitely has replay value. The excitement is still there for me on this 2nd round. This is the longest game I've ever played and it is definitely the most enjoyable RPG I have ever played. Everyone who enjoys a good RPG needs to experience this journey.

Fantastic storytelling

The first RPG I've played where I enjoy every story told. Traveling this fantastic universe and it's stories is a treat. Possibly best game I've played.

Saudade

Ok, so I've played my fair share of games and some manage to hit me harder than others. However, two of them stand out more than the rest, namely Red Dead Redemption and The Witcher 3. Having played the 1st and 2nd Witcher games one can say that this one is CD Project Red's masterpiece. The unique lore, the out of the ordinary combat, that emphazises on preparation rather than buttonmashing, the beautiful sceneries and graphics, the amazing soundtrack that manages to express the emotions of each scene flawlessly. But most of all, the amazing story. The main and secondary quests, the easter eggs and, most importantly, the details! You feel as if you really are travelling in this strange and beautiful world full of dangers and interesting places. This game is able to make you feel happy, sad, scared and brave. And this is by no means an easy task to achieve in a videogame. Nevertheless, the most impactful feeling that this game gives me is "saudade". A feeling of longing for something that is unreachable, long gone or never even existed. All in all, I can't recommend this game (and at least The Witcher 2) more than any other game. Challenging, engaging, interesting and beautiful.

One of the best games ever made

This is one of those rare games that pop up every now and then . CDPR have created a Masterpiece , from its branching storyline , super fun side quest , extremley well crafted world , DLC that can very well be a game on its own world and of course GWENT. After completing the main storyline and its DLC I felt a bitter sweet feeling , as if saying goodbye to a dear friend before we part ways. However to you , Witcher , I say , Untill we meet Again.
