Awesome RPG
In case you haven't played this one, GO DO SO IMMEDIATELY! It is a superb RPG set in the awesome world of Andrzej Sapkovski's wicked books. It is very immersive, the storytelling is EXTREMELY well done . One small gripe is the combat system, dodging in particular. The animation lacks immediate feedback, which can lead to some frustration. Even though this game is now 5-6 years old, its graphics still look more than decent. If you play the first witcher game today, you will immediately notice the outdated graphics but in this one, i was still stunned today when I first turned it to ultra. Sure, it may not be crysis 4 but damn, i think it looks GREAT. Geralt is a great character, he is faced with many problems and prejudices over the course of the story. The special trait of witchers, signs, is very well implemented. I especially liked that you could use different signs in some places to produce similar results, like one scene in the prologue where you have to bust through a wooden barricade. The game tells you to cast a telekinetic blast but by accident i discovered that the flame spell wors too. Or, you can stun an enemy by casting a 'mind control' type spell, or, alternatively you also could stun him by knocking him down using the telekinetic blast. At first, switching between silver and iron swords doesn't seem important but if you wanna stand a chance against stronger monsters on harder difficulties, you are really going to have to whip out that shiny silver sword you got there. Overall, I think everybody should at least have tried this one, especially fans of the third part of the series or the books(I belong to both groups). If there were more stars i would still give this game a perfect score because if there were more stars five wouldn't be perfect no more. Now GO AND PLAY THIS, NOW!

Ok
Voice acting is still terrible. It looks good. The design of the map is terrible. There are invisible walls everywhere, so you have to spend ages looking for where you're supposed to go. I spent hours looking for the waypoint once. Many of the quests feel like chores. Not a fun time for the most part. No, I don't care about your dead wife if i have to run across the map looking for even more things. I like the third game because you can make your own path to the waypoint. I couldnt motivate myself to finish this game.

Great game - but very buggy
Would have been 5 stars except for the infuriating bugs. I have been close to quitting and watching a summary on youtube a couple of times. My experience 1st 5 hours with the game was troubleshooting sound issues. No dialogue. Suddenly no sound. Spent significant amount of time on Google combing through forums. Eventually, I managed to sort, but each play session meant fiddling with sound settings Unable to open some doors - stopping me buying books as I couldn't open the booksellers door. The prompt says Open, but Geralt switches to lighting the torch instead. So no book learning for Geralt, then. Sudden freezes - On a couple of occasions the freeze was so bad I had to hard boot my machine. The game itself - great voice acting. Deep choices. Lot to do and interesting stories and side quests. Game controls and combat are clunky, but adequate.

Logical way didn't pay off
dark difficulty and complete misunderstanding of things that make the 1st part great are the main scourge of this game , just throws away gameplay difficulty balance in the toilet, not mentioning using legendary armor in caves,no thought behind this at all, devs just wanted some resemblance with idiotic souls games. No companionship throughout the story either, you always alone, your so called sidekick is the spy and a black ops commander, what affection could you posssibly have towards him, moronic shit. The only things. that saves the game are its unprecedented plot complexity without loss of logic and meticulousness towards every character that you meet in their dialogues and actions , don't get me wrong, you won't care about any of them , it's just gonna be interesting to see this convoluted beautifully looking story to the end.
