The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

The Witcher 2, what can I say? This game is oozing with excellence! The characters are interesting (and sometimes sexy!), Geralt is even more bad-ass than before and he has a large can of whoop-ass with more than enough to go around. With that being said there are some things the game does exceedingly well, such as the dialogue, graphics, music and sound and the environments. But there are also a few things it could improve upon, like the combat system/mechanics, which in the early game is a bit hard to handle groups of enemies and the targeting methods can often have you switching enemies in the middle of a fight. If you can get past the quirks of the combat you will find yourself in a dark-fantasy world filled with cutthroat bandits, dangerous beasts, bad-ass dwarves, gallant knights, sharp swords, big tits, round asses, and most important of all choices, your actions as Geralt of Rivia will decide the fate of the Northern Kingdoms!

I just wanted to say Thank you GOG. For people unaware, in Australia, publishers like to add an 'You live in Australia' tax onto all games, and we end up having to pay quite a lot extra than everyone else. On Steam, this game is $75. While GOG doesn't then sell it to us for $50, because they can't because that is the publisher set price which GOG can't control, they do give you three discount codes in your invoice. You get 1 free $6 game, and 2 free $10 games. How awesome is that?

About the game: The second installment in the series; great storytelling, improved combat(though can take some getting used to) and overall a game that is very enjoyable and that led me to complete this game for over 10 times. And it is not a short game as it requires over 40 hours in one playthrough; so you can understand how good the game is! It is what every RPG lover should definitely play! The Devs: They are how every developer in the games industry should be. They actually care for their customers in contrast to other devs who just want to milk their customers before leaving the ship to drown with their own pockets full. And to show my support for CDPR, I actually bought this game twice on two different store fronts! My Message to the Dev: Keep up the good work and stay true to your principles and you have a lifelong supporter in me. To the Buyer: Why are you still reading this review? Just go and buy this awesome game!

This game is really awesome. The story (the most important part for me) it's great. But there are some bugs in mac version. For example VSync is bugged, I can play fluid 60fps without vsync while I can't with it (I get like 15 fps with vsync active). Also sometimes audio go mute (2 times during the epiloge). But the port is great anyway, and the game is awesome. I suggest to play the witcher 1 first.
