Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping and emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.
Emotional, Gut-Wrenching Story - See Clementine’s journey through to the end. As she builds a new life, you will have to grapple with new types of choices and live with the consequences as AJ looks on, learning from your every move.
More Control, More Tension - A new over-the-shoulder camera system, greater freedom to explore detailed environments, and scenes of unscripted combat capture the fear of living in a world overrun by the undead. All this creates the most engaging The Walking Dead game yet.
Striking New Visual Style - The all-new Graphic Black art style rips the ink from the pages of the Eisner Award-winning comic book series and brings the world of The Walking Dead to life like never before.
Includes access to all 4 episodes (Episodes 1-4 available now!).
"Episodes 2-4 Coming Soon" is now a blatant false advertisement as they have confirmed that, following the layoffs and closing of most of the studio, Telltale will not be developing/releasing the rest of this game.
DO NOT BUY!
Clem not dying in the end and the final scene of her with her leg cut off and everyone joking at the table was really the best summation of the pseuds wishing they could make it in Hollywood that wrote this drek. To be fair, it's not anywhere near as bad as the third, but that was literally the worst game I ever played in my life. I'm not even joking season III is literally the worst "game" aka cutscene simulator I ever subjected myself to in my whole life.
By the time I got to the final "season" of this cutscene simulator I was so inured and numbed to everything stupid about the writing, all the different random and unpredictable horrible bugs, all the broken saves (seriously if you're dumb enough to not heed this warning don't bother playing, you WILL have your save broken at some point if you don't duplicate the files you'll lose everything) but not that it matters because old saves are shown literally meaningless entirely by this game, basically I was so numb to everything that the usual stupidity and broken games stopped phasing me.
It's junk. Remember how unbearably stupid The Council turned out to be with the demons family bs? That would be this more or less. The first season was just aggravating, and you should've stopped there. Know how it started going downhill in season 2? It doesn't get better. I had to head canon it that Clementine dies and is left all alone and it ends there with the shack because the real ending made all of it a stupid waste of time to placate the kind of halfwit that likes stuff like this.
If you don't mind all the unbearably atrocious writing, complete lack of choice and consequence etc., the game is straight up broken and playing Russian roulette with an unpredictable variety of different bugs. I can't think of a single redeeming feature.
With Telltale going bankrupt this game should either be pulled from sale or what is available be given away for free and those who bought it be given refunds.
I thought I would, for the first time, use the "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. 30 days coverage after purchase" since we now know that there won't be episodes 3 and 4 as promised, and it's been just a little over 30 days since my purchase (day-one). It's deliberate falsehood. That can't be legal! I want my money back!!!
