Great title
The ambiance of the game is fantastic, the music especially and the mecanics are very enterteining. Very Polish in the best way possible. Recomended

Great adventure, overall 7.5/10
This game is a LOVE LETTER to Warsaw of early 20th century! Not quite an RPG, more like an interactive narrative-driven adventure. Lots to explore, every corner of Warsaw, people and activities. Pretty great fight system - not too challenging, but the buffs really require a level of strategy to win in most fights. And... my favorite part --> the game's opening is in GEORGIA (The country) <3 just loved it, got sold on the narrative and all. Especially, since we're there and struggling with occupying forces... The game shows a great perspective of most people towards Russian occupation.

Crashes, crashes, crashes......
TLDR. I recomend this game. I had fun despite rising frustration from crashes. THE GOOD: I really loved the story in the game. Game take place in interesting times and place not seen often in other titles. Music was great. Combat was fun with reasonable level of challenge. Characters were good. Location nicely detailed THE BAD: Game is unpolished. You cannot load game in the middle of cutscenes. You clip into some furnitures and wals. Autosave slightly useless as it saves when you are already locked in certain decisions. Clues system for quests make it easy to miss prior and miss best outcome THE UGLY: Frequent game crashes Antyvirus reports suspicious activity of TheThaumaturge-Win64-Shipping.exe (part of game files) PDB files in game folder? Really?

Solid Game With An Interesting Premise!
I've enjoyed the time I've spent with The Thaumaturge so far. It has a very interesting narrative that will appeal to gamers that like exploration and investigation. There is a noticeable lack of polish in some of the animations, but that is to be expected from a non-AAA game, and it doesn't detract from the gameplay at all. No major bugs encountered so far. The combat is interesting, but can get a tad repetitive. If you're the type of gamer who enjoys historically immersive games or investigative/detective games, then definitely give this game a try!
