Seems great but has crashed 4/4 times
The game looks awesome. I can't leave a more detailed review because every time I've tried to play it, it crashes my whole PC and I need to restart it. (This happens when I die and it does the rewind animation thing.) When I start it again, it asks if it should run in Safe Mode, which seems to have deleted my save file. I don't think I'll be trying to play it anymore.

Better Than Portal
TP is a first person puzzle game, like the portal series, but with a much deeper story. The atmosphere is great. The feeling of isloation and being alone while trying to solve the puzzles and understand what is going on and figure out what happened to those that came before you. I won't go into to much detail, but you signed up for a puzzle game and while you do get that you also get a deep probe of the human mind. The athmosphere of the game is also excelent. While a bit restrictive, much like portal 1, it does a great job of both feeling mysterious and opressive. The sound design and voice acting are also excelent. As for the puzzles, they get the job done but do get repetative due to relying on just a few basic mechanics (Also like portal 1) but the game doesn't outstay its welcome despite that. As for the DLC... I wasn't a big fan of it, as the story was far less interesting to me and was just an excuse to crank the difficulty up. Its not bad or anything, just more tedious than worth the payoff if you aren't a master of the lasers. But Make no mistake The Talos Principal is a must have for anyone who likes solving puzzles or deep stories.

The Talos Principle, Road to Gehenna DLC
I love The Talos Principle. It is easily one of my favorite games ever. I love its puzzles, its music, its storyline that makes me think deep thoughts, its locations and aesthetics that warm my heart (esp. world C), its amazing voice acting. I bought the Gold Edition here on GOG some time ago to have a paid copy of the base game and specifically to experience the DLC Road to Gehenna that is included in that bundle (I already knew the base game as a free Epic Games Store giveaway from a few years ago). I have about 65 hours on the clock for this Gold Edition here on GOG now and found Road to Gehenna absolutely amazing. Its implementation of NPCs and its puzzles are great. Especially the very last puzzles at the end are so so clever. Brilliant! I return from time to time just to replay a selected few of them when I need a break.
