An incredible DLC to an incredible game
This DLC is broken up into 3 parts with 3 different themes and levels of difficulty: Orpheus Ascending - Heartfelt mini story, gorgeous graphics and theme, amazing soundtrack, fun puzzles (with a great twist on an existing mechanic), and some fun easter eggs to find. This was the shortest area of the three (at least for me) but well worth the time and effort. Isle of the Blessed - A fun chill beach area where you get to interact with some of the characters from the original game (including your previous self!), meet some new ones, solve fun puzzles, and learn more about the future / story at the end of TP2 all while taking in the absolutely gorgeous visuals and beautiful soundtrack. In addition to that, hearing and seeing the other robots playing around, joking, making up for lost time and past mistakes is quite relaxing and pretty fun. Into the Abyss - The hardest of the 3 but definitely do-able. There are some great puzzles in here, Tidal Lock (#12) for example, with a unique (and darker) theme. All in all if you enjoyed the Talos Principle (1 or 2) you will enjoy this, and it’s a steal for the amount of content you get. There are 74 puzzles plus the Hexahedron (which is like 1 big puzzle?), a ton of easter eggs, exploration, amazing visuals, and an amazing soundtrack. So to sum up, this is an absolutely incredible addition to an absolutely incredible game that was the sequel to an absolutely incredible game. I think I used just the right amount of 'absolutely incredible' there.
