The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse

I tried to play the game for several hours before writing a review, and I can safely say that it deserves a solid four stars. There are a few frustrating elements to the game, such as losing your items when you die, but it's still a very enjoyable experience overall. The game is colourful, cheery, creative, and has a lot of potential for long-term replay value. I really don't understand all the hate. I think a lot of people were expecting a Zelda clone, but this game is unique in it's own way, and shouldn't be compared to other games. If you go into the experience expecting a light, enjoyable, casual game, then this is probably the right game for you.

I like the art style and audio. That's it. The gameplay would be fine if the dialogue weren't so chatty and irritating. We're 30 minutes in and there's so much dialogue that does absolutely nothing to develop characters or set up an engaging atmosphere. It was so bad we just stopped playing. Whoever designed this game needs to hire a good story editor.

It's a lot of fun on the co-op front. Wish you could have a ALttP experience with a friend? Well here it is. The controls are tight, but the movement is just a tad slow. Maybe that's deliberate due to the time limit. The humor is cringy if you don't care for meme humor. Otherwise, the game is solid and there are some uncommon funny moments in the game. My biggest issue with the game is the Linux port is very rough. It maxes out your CPU no matter how much you turn down the graphics, even if your CPU is well beyond what's recommended, and has graphical glitches whenever you go into a cave or fall down a grotto. Not to mention the audio has slight stutters, probably due to the CPU being maxed out, and the game freezes whenever you try to exit. Still, despite those issues, it's still fun. Hopefully it will be straightened out in a patch or two.

I had the same problem trying to run this game on Linux as other reviewers described for MacOs. After about 15 minutes I got stuck over an invisible wall with no way to restart the game. I don't know whether this thing gets patched any time soon cause it seems like there is a lot to do in terms of fixing for different OS. 2 stars as I quite enjoyed the 15 minutes I got. It's probably a good game if it ever gets fixed.

there are many rouge like out there like this, but I find this one to be very easy to get in and the style just lovely enough to keep playing. The sticker system, the weapon upgrades, the death system all are fun parts. Also fun is that there are certain rules in any dungeon such as that food doesn't restore health but waiting does, yeeah COD Dungeon Crawler Edition!. Or that your stickers are disabled so you have a harder time withouth your helpfull sticker. I recommand playing this game on the easiest dificulty first. I am a good player and I think this game can be kinda hard, fair but hard. Lukely you can always change the dificulty midgame if you find it to easy. Furthermore there is a small story, nothing to big but it really pumps you up playing till the end. replay value is high on this game, well it is all about the replay. Who doesn't like replaying a game than this one is not for you. But if you like you can quite well spent over 50hours in this game if you like.
