You are sent on a hostile planet with one mission: Make it habitable for Humans. You'll have to survive, collect resources, build your base, produce machines to heat the planet, create an oxygen-rich atmosphere and eventually geo-engineer an entire planet!
Gather minerals and resources to survive. Craft all the tools you need to fulfill your mission. Explore old shipwrecks and ruins and discover a planet full of mysteries!
You'll need a base and all sorts of machines to make yourself at home, and be able to bring life to this planet! Progress through building tiers to upgrade and expand your base and explore the planet further.
See life forms appear on the planet as you terraform it by increasing heat, oxygen and pressure. Witness the first signs of life with moss and insects and unleash the planet's full potential with thick forests and animals.

Has potential....but cursor /movement is extremely sloppy and difficult to control movement accurately. Graphics are broken up, i.e., hill space shuttle is sitting on has missing midsection such that you can see right through it to terrain and objects on other side. The ground is depicted as a kind of liquid as if a shallow lake unless you look straight down at it revealing the actual ground graphics where you are looking. Constructed life support module is too small to enter unless you can crawl into it, if you can figure out how to open the entrance constructed and attached to it. Where to locate the terraforming screen is unknown and cannot be found unless it is inside the life support module which you cannot enter. Game definitely needs more work, since all these issues are occurring in the lastest updated version of Windows 10 v22H2 run on an Intel i9 CPU with 32GB DDR Ram.
Rating 4.5/5 for a game as trivial and bad looking as this is clearly extremely overhyped thus my leveraging rating. I just can't believe how many people find this waste of time fun.
This clearly demonstrates one thing:
There are way too many players out there who find other a better and more evolved survival/crafting games too frustrating, challenging, stressful etc. You can see it in these reviews here - people praise it mostly for being chill and having difficulty options that remove whatever challenge from the game.
So the verdict really depends on what type of player you are. If you are experienced and skilled player who finished far superior games like Subnautica without the slightest need for lowering the difficulty as much as you can not to mention cheat your way through then Planect Crafter is a complete waste of money, time and most importantly attention. The game reminded me Subnautica in the most earliest development stages when EA was released. Survival or challenge aspects aside this game simply has very little to offer in terms of fun or anything intriguing about the environment. There is little to no story, environment looks mostly proceduraly generated and the whole formula is about collecting resources, crafting and unlocking new recipes... plus occasional wreck exploring with flashlight and little oxygen options... Wheee so much original fun. Not to mention it's one of the most visually unappealing worlds out there with underdeveloped elementary graphics.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
