The Nations Gold Edition

I spent a lot of my younger years playing this game. It's a lot of fun but unfortunately I lost the disc a long time ago. Sure the game is pretty limited with only 3 tribes to play as but I found the science system and happiness/unhappiness to be a very nice feature. It plays almost like Civ but at a much smaller scale

That's pretty much it.

This game is nutoriously broken. The game's textures will not load. If you get a black screen. There is no option to close the .exe without force stopping the process. As everything should load instantly. The compatibility mode does not fix these issues. The tools which are half in German. Do not fix these issues. This game cannot and will not work on a windows 10 operating system.

I didn't expect this game working correctly on my 1440 x 900 resolution, but it does perfectly. It's even possible to zoom in and out using mouse scroll, like in new games, interesting :) If you like Settlers games or building strategies in general, you should try this game.

The mouse stutters on the title screen. Trying to start any game goes to a loading screen then black screen with music playing.
