The Longest Journey

I had bought this game back when it originally came out just on a bit of an impulse, but I am *so* glad I did. If you have any kind of love for classic adventure gaming, this game is a MUST have! Puzzles which challenge but don't frustrate, an epic plot spanning two separate dimensions and beyond, characters which are well-written and interesting, and beautifully rendered settings. This game is a critical success and a fan favorite for good reasons! Now stop reading this and, if you haven't already done so, buy it!

I got this a Steam sale recently, and I have to say it has easily the best story, dialogue and voice acting of any game I have played in a long time. It's a long game; It took me slightly more than 20 hours to complete so you will have a lot of game to play. One of the things most endearing things about this game is it's protagonist; the way you share the story with her makes you miss her once you have finished, in the way you miss a character from a good novel when you have finished it.

i do love this game, nd it runs great on windows 7(64 bit) would have bought dream fall on gog but they dont have it, so bought on steam and it runs fab on windows 7(64 bit)

I had never heard of this game before so I looked it up. Decided to give it a go one weekend and was not disappointed. If you're looking for a game with a great story to tell, this is it!!

Never before or after this have I wept so deeply of the ending of the game. Not because of the story, though it was phenomenal, too, but because I know the second playthrough won't offer me that same feeling of awe, joy and wonder ever again. Game on all time, ever. Play it.
