Awesome WEIRD Game Very WORTHY! 5 Stars!

I bought this over STEAM 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. I still have not beaten the title and just picked it back up again and decided to buy it on GOG during the sale. What can I say? I like the game! The pixel graphics are great, the sound track is OMINOUS and the situations you find yourself in are straight COSMIC HORROR! It does take some inventive ways to beat the creature and the game is NOT always forthcoming on how to proceeed and really that is my ONLY issue with the game. But seriously, who buys a game for it to be easy to beat? Some reviewers like the one below me are completely IGNORANT and literally have ZERO sense on gaming and what it means to understand the entire story. I'm telling you true, the game is really worth it and on sale is a serious little GEM worth considering especially if you like some Cosmic Horror sprinkled with a dash of Murder, mixed with a seriously creepy creature and one of the neatest little sound tracks which matches the pacing of the game and especially matches the screwy situations you find yourself dealing with! This title is WELL WORTH it and I would definitely buy it either on or off sale it is an enjoyable 15 to 20+ hour experience (perhaps longer considering you need to TRAP the creature) this game and the story is seriously unforgiving!

Nice!

Great atmosphere, entirely wonderful music and sound, cool characters, interesting and intriguing storyline! And it has full controller support. Totally worth buying.

Waste of time.

I've only played the demo just from the demo alone I can tell its a complete waste of time I can't imagine what the rest of the game is probably like. The Dialogue: Uninteresting and unnecessarily sarcastic --- Everyone has a attitude problem for no reason But you know where I'm getting at. No character seems to have anything interesting or useful to say. The Characters: Unlikeable doesn't give me a reason to want to continue their story or care about as a protagonist. The Gameplay itself only lasted maybe ten or 15 minutes of nothing just walking up and down a hallway and a guy who really loves his Stanley cup. Not sure what the selling point was suppose to be for me to want to keep playing. The demo needs to be longer to have enough time to give the player something to do that would bring us back to want the rest of the game. Wouldn't recommend.

A game for left-handed people

I don't own this game, I just tried it at a friend's computer this afternoon. TL;DR: don't buy this game if you haven't played the demo, controls and how the game makes you use them are horrible. First of all, there's some horror in here. It feels like a graphic adventure, but instead of point-and-click, it's move-and-press-E. And not in a 2D scenery, but in one dimensional scenery, moving left and right. There's no mouse support, no gamepad support, and not only the controls are 90% at the left hand (that's why I say it's a game for left-handed), but as the other reviewer has already said, you can't redefine the keys, and what's worse, there's some kind of irregular choice about when to use escape, the space bar, or the E key to continue, like are you examining a letter, finishing/continuing a dialog or description (which aren't autoclosed at move, you must close them manually and it's not always clear which of the keys can be used. WASD for movement (never used WS for the short time I played), plus E and F, and then the far I for inventory... And a clumsy, counterintuitive and very unnatural way to interact with stuff, make playing this game an annoying experience. I can't vouch for the game itself, as I wasn't able to stand the controls and how the game wants you to use them anymore. The sounds and graphics are ok, maybe somewhere there's a decent game to be played, but with this control scheme I really can't imagine myself wanting to try ever again. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this one (for my friend), but I'm sorry for my friend because the horrid controls. Try the demo if you want to test yourself.
