Bad release of a good game
KOF2002 is a superb fighter, but this release has several breaking problems: - Emulation speed is tied to monitor refresh rate. Game will be absolutely unplayable if you have a fast monitor unless you force a slower refresh rate. 60Hz seems to be work. - Emulator has no antialiasing. This game was designed for an arcade cabinet. If you don't have a CRT monitor, the game will look like a pixelated mess. - Control bindings are not configurable. - No support for a second controller. For two-player games, one player must use keyboard controls. It's a really disappointing release and feels like shovelware. The release developer could have spent very minimal effort on the emulator configuration to fix all of these issues. Apparently "DOT EMU" handled the emulation but they don't even list this release on their website. The only upside is that you can drop the ROM files into a decent emulator and have a legal/ethical copy of the game. As for the game itself, it's SNK in top form: great character designs and voice acting, lots of cute and geniunely funny animations.

Worst Version of Anything I ever Played
This game has basically 3 major issues that turned it unplayable for me: 1. Long, unskippable intro. The companies that made this game have their logos being shown when you first boot this game for too long, and you cannot skip it. For an arcade game that you want to get in and play immediately, that is extremely detrimental. 2. Controls are wrong. The controls shown in the "Game Controls" menu are actually mostly wrong, you have to search through the keyboard to find the correct buttons to even play. 3. Controls cannot be changed. What makes it worse is the fact that the oblivious controls cannot be changed at all. Took me a long time to even find the buttons required to get through the tutorial scene to start playing the actual game. A shameful product that is a perfect example of what incompetence and neglect can achieve. I got this for free, and I even feel like I want to get a refund.

Greek's gift
The King Of Fighters game series is a classic for lovers of fighting games, and I received a gift from GoG to my account that was just KoF 2002. A good game in some way, but I don't know why the games does not support USB controllers, that's the reason for my 1 star rating.
