Fun but flawed
This is a worker-management game, heavily inspired by Ravenous Devils (which was published by this game's developer). The player sets tasks for a doctor and nun team as they heal or kill inmates in a day phase, and then perform horrific experiments on them in a night phase. The themes are intentionally disturbing, but the story is reasonably well-done and engaging. The biggest issue I have with this game is the gameplay. While the day phase involves frantic scheduling of actions to deal with incoming patients, the night phase involves a lot of player downtime as you sit and watch the characters s-l-o-w-l-y carry bodies from one station to another. I've heard that this has been fixed in a couple of patches on the Steam version, but these have yet to make their way to GOG. I also feel that the upgrade paths have not been well planned out. I was able to complete the goals of the game without needing to explore many of the branches. I almost feel that they were designed to support a longer game. Overall, it's a fun game to play, if you can find something else to do while you wait for the bodies to be carried. If this issue were to be fixed on GOG, I would add a star.
