Robert is a novice, a bit clueless, but with a heart of gold. He lives a peaceful life as a court musician in Asposia's largest wind monastery. Contrary to the laws of physics, Asposia is an enormous, hollow space surrounded by an infinite expanse of earth. The world's air is provided through three wind fountains, but as one wind fountain after the other petered out and the wind gods came to Asposia, all of the sudden Robert found him in the middle of a whirlwind.
Together with the help of the mysterious thief Laura, his best intentions and no clue whatsoever, Robert sets off on his adventure to discover the secret of the wind's disappearance. Will the young adventurer be able to save his world? And what are Laura´s secret intentions…?

Now, this isn't the most fantastic game ever, but it's a very decent experience, with some tricky puzzles, a very unique setting, and basically everything that makes for a good, solid four-star point-and-click experience (though without the things that could make it turn into a five-star gem).
Sadly, there are some bugs that makes me take off a star; mainly the fact that the game hangs up on me. Now, it's not too bad, because all you need to do is to go back to the main menu and reload the game. And since the game auto-saves, that means you hardly ever lose any progress to speak of. But still, between that and also missing soundbytes, these are annoying aspects.
... is for me the most crucial aspect of these types of games (see "The Whispered World", ugh). Fortunately, not only is the voice acting wonderful in this game, the story is also very engaging.
Someone mentioned it was too short. Really? I found the length quite appropriate.
A minor critique is some of the puzzles tend to lead you in the "click on everything and try every object on every hotspot" method. However, in the end I only had to refer to the walk through once.
Top marks, and great job!
A point and click fairy tale archetype.
We have a young and naive protagonist fighting a horribly evil villain in a unique fantasy universe with a puzzle stlyle similar to (but considerably easier than) the classic LucasArt games.
Good things: It's a sweet story with some great side characters and a lovely soundtrack. A good mix of easy, medium and hard puzzles.
A few things to criticise: It's a little on the short side. One or two voice actors are throughly dreadful. The art style may not be to everyone's taste and the main character can be irritating.
I would certainly recommend this to fans of the kind of 2D point and clicks that were around in the early and mid 90s.
The game is beautiful. That is the first thing you will notice about this game. The music is very understated and minimal and it works with the game. The world and the story, while predictable, are well presented. The puzzles were a bit on the easy side with some obscure ones. The game has a built in hint system making it less of a frustration when you are stuck in any of the puzzles. Overall a good game. Doesnt quite reach the level of the stalwarts of the genre but a solid entry.
This game definitely deserves more attention from the adventure game fans. I liked everything about it: the setting, the story, the humor, the challenge, puzzles, characters, voice acting, style and visuals, and about everything else.
Great deal of love was put into this game, nothing feels rushed, the game is full of small details, that all add up to make an unforgettable experience: be it pink boxers of a garbage dealer, number of clickable hotspots or possible actions just for the fun of it.
I loved the lighthearted humor. That being said, it sometimes actually goes pretty grim, which makes it even funnier. Take a "reunion" of scientists... with the decapitated head of their comrade. Doesn't sound funny when I put it this way, but they actually make it work in the game.
The additional characters are all lovable and just the right amount of crazy. There is quite a lot of dialog in the game, and not only I didn't mind it, I absolutely loved it! Voice is done especially well, with everyone having their own unique accent, and the dialog not only gives hints, but delivers some funny stuff all the time.
Puzzles are just awesome. Sometimes I had to brute force and try everything on everything to find the solution, but never they felt unfair. Expect classical stuff here: in order to progress you need to get itemZ, but to get itemZ, you need itemY, itemX and itemW, but to get those 3 you'll need itemV and itemU, but to get those you'll need... and so on. Nothing too hard, nothing you haven't seen before, but enough challenge to add some new neuron pathways into your brain and to keep things interesting.
The game should take about 4 or 6 hours to finish if you're a master of adventures, or if you don't mind using a walkthrough once stuck. It took me about 12 hours to finish without walkthrough. There is a built in hint system, but I haven't tried it.
Highly recommended for those who look for classic style, puzzle heavy games with humorous edge!
