The Great Perhaps tells the story of an astronaut returning to Earth destroyed by natural cataclysms.

There, among the ruins he finds an unusual artifact — an old lantern, in the light of which you can see glimpses of another time and travel to the past.

Experience constant time traveling between an empty, melancholic scenery of the post-apocalyptic Earth and its vivid days gone by.

The hero will face the danger in the post-apocalyptic present, as well as in the past. Help him on his journey to find out the true cause of the disaster and save the planet!

  • Innovative storytelling which binds together the past and the present

The Mini Perhaps

Is it value for money? NO. IS it as inmersive and story driven? NO. Does it have a Great twist? NO!! It is artistic and interesting but not enduring nor surprising. Could have had quite a few more npcs with stories but didn't. Felt more like a test than anything else. Classic case of art over substance. Get it on sale. Don't bother otherwise. I completed it in 3 hours whilst I was doing laundry. I wont have a second playthrough for the achievements.

Controversial genre mix

Strange decision to mix quest and arcade game. I didn't like of genre mixing, moreover so different game genres. In addition the game is bad tested. The battery in underground town got stuck near machine and game can't be continued right way. You have to start level again from main menu.

Short. Linear. Sweet.

Played this on Ubuntu Mate 18.04. Great little game with a lot of heart. Not my usual cup of tea but I liked this games humor, story line and art work. If you're looking for a short sci-fi adventure game with a touch of horror, this is a good buy.

A good puzzle adventure but that's it

The Great Perhaps is an interesting puzzle adventure game where the gimmick mechanism is time travel, you need to switch between the present and the past to solve puzzles and to progress. In that sense the game reminds me of The Silent Age. The story is interesting, maybe a bit cliché but it works out. There is a companion who always makes fun remarks, but that's about it. Would have been fun to see the companion be more part of the puzzles, etc. I won't discuss the end too much, for the sole reason of avoiding spoilers, but let's just say I was hoping for a different one although I guess I was kinda expecting it. I recommend this game for anyone who love puzzle games!

Weak in all meanings, smk of game

Definitely, there is no reason to buy that Flashplayer game that tries to mimic a good game. I do not like such kind of stinky games that try to be what they are not. "The Great Perhaps" is one of such pseudo-games. Almost every asset in the game looks like it was made for the Flashplayer Browser game. Developers try to make money from cheap sh|t bag. !Do not buy the game!, do not sponsor such ugly and noisome devs.
