But it's not quite over for you... at least, not yet. And now that you've got thousands of tonnes of locomotive at your disposal, you've got the definite advantage over the infected hordes. This is The Final Station.
The real question is whether or not you'll help the survivors get to their destinations.... or let them die and loot their bodies. Sometimes people can be more trouble than they're worth.
A post-apocalyptic adventure about travelling a dying world on a train.
A story that goes through 5 chapters, with large inhabited stations at the end of each one.
Infected are ready to stop your progress whenever you exit the train to look for supplies.
Maintain your train in operating condition and craft valuable items from the resources you scavenge.
Don't expect to shoot your way through the crowds of infected. Supplies and ammo are very limited.
Pick up survivors along the way, gaining perks (and hindrances) for your troubles.
Scavenge for loot at stations and craft useful supplies.
Sell your loot at inhabited stations for useful upgrades to your weapons.

I love everything about this game. The way you get the lore of what's happening, the story, the level design, the strategy about it, the graphic, so appealing. For a price like this it's a must have. Should be mandatory by law!
A lovely sidescrolling game that would be managed to paly through within 1 day.
The game highlights were totaly the nice and well made levels and graphics, ...oh the graphics.
Those might be pixel art but wonderful planted into the scene either on foot or while you are traveling throught eh land with your train.
-Spoilers-
First I were wondering what the actual heck si going on in the world, but when you lsitening to the people you will soon manage to find out that the black sauce monsters are the result of capsules that got dropped around the world and taking over the people via a gas.
During my journey I kept all passangers on my train alive to earn as much as possible to buy the upgrades for my pistol only to find out later that it get replaced by a machine gun. So actually you wasted your money for pistol upgrades :C
The shotgun can only get more loading capacity, I actually expected more weapons which could be maybe used effective in boss fight. Sadly there aren't any bosses.
In the end of the game you keep finding more items and money but you even cant use it.
that pissed me off a little bit, but I think the message behind that is: "You can have all teh money of the world, but when you are deadly sick, it is useless."
Most of the gameplay feels like a mobile/tablet game, or a flash game. Basically you do the same task till you either got bored to death or complete the game. Go to the right, try to find a code to leave the actual station, meanwhile loot and possibly rescue some survivors.
Types of zombies and weapons are limited. When you are on the train, you _could_ admire the pixel art or listen to the survivors' interesting conversation, related to the backstory and lore. I say could, because the devs decided to nag you with either stupid minigames (fix some issue on the train) or rush to get some medkit / food to the passengers before they die. By the way I played the game for almost two hours and only managed to keep a single survivor alive, despite of looting everything.
