The Fall

While short, The Fall is beautifully executed. The dialogue and voice acting together with a bleak setting and scattered clues are perfectly balanced with just the right pacing of puzzles and challenge to tell a poignant story and explore the concepts loyalty, obedience, and self-determination. I can't wait for the next one!

I'm a Sci-Fi author, so it goes without saying that I'm a big fan of Sci-Fi. I went into this with only one expectation; a game with Sci-Fi to it. I figured it would be short, sweet, and satisfying. I wasn't disappointed in the least. It is rather short, but for a sale price of only a few dollars, it's perfect. It doesn't overstay its welcome, it's intriguing to the end, and it's very well paced. If you want something Sci-Fi to burn a few hours with, go for it. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and for me, that's saying quite a bit. Tight, intuitive mechanics. Organic narrative. Exceptional pacing. All in all, excellent combination, especially for only a couple bucks on sale.

Atmospheric addiction!!

Haven't played anything this polished, imaginative, and philisophically profound in a long time!

This and a boatload of other games on GOG does not run out of the box on Ubuntu 64 bit. Its false advertisement. Its true you can make some of the games work after hours of tweaking, but if i pay for a port i expect it to run. If i wanted to spent hours on config - i would port the games my self.
