Steam Greenlight bad
This is something you could have seen on Steam Greenlight when it was up and running. Please GoG, don't turn into Steam and make sure to curate your library a bit. First, I assume there are cutscenes in this game that aren't working. The game starts off with "Two Years Earlier" (earlier than what?) and you are just sort of in this bar. White text appears on your screen that tells you to go talk to the bartender. You chat about your no-show that, which the bartender informs you is a no-show because she is currently BEING BURNED ALIVE by a mob. Your character literally goes "Oh No!" and then you go through a door, jump down a bridge and there she is laying. You pick her up and start to walk really slowly as fires go off around you. Text at the bottom of the screen informs you that it is the mob that is throwing molotovs, but there is no graphic representation of this so we'll just have to take the game's word for it. You move ungodly slow while carrying your date, and it takes a solid minute or two before you reach the end of the area. Then you are suddenyl in a corridor without your date, and fires are still going off around you. You have to slowly run through this corridor until the level finishes with a black screen adn some nonsense dialogue about true love. Then you unexplicitedly find yourself on an island. I ASSUME there are some sort of cut-scene or maybe even a text-screen that is supposed to happen between these levels, but as I said I don't think it's working. I stopped playing the game at this point. Don't bother.
