Very good, but not on a notebook
I was looking forward to playing Bard's Tale 1 and am still. The interface, grafics and gameplay are enjoyable and well polished. I expect it to be very enjoyable judging from the first two hours of gameplay. A full playthrough will have to wait, however, until the legacy mode is enabled. I have no idea why it isn't already activated since it doesn't sound like too much work to implement. I have to give it four stars out of five, however. I wanted to play this supposedly small and compact game on my notebook and while the speed is not an issue, the fan runs at full power which is very annoying. I suspect the batteries wouldn't last long either.
