A Great classic
This game has aged well. You have so much you can do and accomlish with vaying leves of difficulty. There are many things I haven't build yet and Bosses I still have to defeat.

Very nice.
Fantastic art style. Fantastic music & audio. Fantastic mechanics & gameplay loop. Fantastic control schemes. Fantastic mods. Terraria is probably the best game released in the passed twenty years. (I kind of wish I was joking.)

Played 600 hours - Try Mediumcore!
I played for 600 hours, and will definitely come back to it again in the future. Getting a GOG copy to keep for the future! Mediumcore is very punishing for death, and most players I have heard from dislike it. Softcore feels too easy to me, as any death costs you coins and time at most. In mediumcore, you drop your inventory and have to fight your way back to your stuff. Makes the whole game more tense, and creates fun/frustrating corpse runs to save your loot. I see why most people prefer softcore, but mediumcore created some of the best, most intense moments of the game for me!
