Teenagent

The game made me chuckle all the way. Sure, some puzzles are kind of silly and take a lot of guesswork, but all in all it's great. I loved the tribute to late, great Henry Kuttner.

Amazing atmosphere, point and click adventure like from the days of Tale of the tentacle games from DOS. It is very well painter considering it is Free and the story in these games is always intriguing.

First, this is a very short game. So if you are looking for a quick game to beat in one day (possibly shorter if you are good at point and click adventures) then this will be a good fit. The game has an upbeat tone and a good sense of homour. Do not expect this to be a serious game and seems to be self aware about itself. The point and click mechanics work well, no issues there. Music is good. Took me a a bit to figure out how to get the inventory...You have to drag your mouse to one of the upper corners of the screen. Dialog is satisfactory. All in all, game is worth a play. Once you are done, there really isn't any reason to go back.

It has a pleasant atmosphere of school holidays and boredom in a summery countryside. But it is amateur in all areas - a naive twist with a dull gameplay, lengthy, uninteresting conversations, idiotic characters, frustratingly illogical puzzles. A typical adventure from a post-communist country in the mid 90´s - a few years after the West opened - it was impossible to compete with a Lucas Arts-niveau game, understandably. This game is suitable for 11-year-olds who will feel cooler and more grown-up in the role of an „agent“.

Teenagent is an ok adventure game from the mid 90s. While the puzzles are not of the most logical kind, the puns and humour make the game worth playin still in 2020. And it helps that the game is, of course, free. I enjoyed my time with Teenagent now almost as much as I did when I first played over 20 years ago. While some of the later puzzles will make your brain snap and fold in two, it is still mostly a good time.
