Good game but unfortunately too woke. It became annoying to the degree that it took me out of it. I tried to mitigate its effect and enjoy the game by telling myself that it was a dystopian future where "anything goes" but it didn't really work. The game starts and one of the protagonists is a young woman of colour. No problem there. Then you find out another one of the protagonists (old "stuck in his ways" white dude) was in an interracial couple. Ok. Then there's another couple in the game who are not only interracial but also gay. Okkk....... Then another one of the protagonists, asian girl (or so we thought) turns out to be trans ....... Then there's this black guard who happens to be the nicest guy in the whole world. Then (if you read the news bits) there's a comment about Japan choosing to preserve their culture and how that's "ethno-fascism". Yes, the game calls it "ethno-fascism". Then there's this lab where the person in charge is a black female, the rest of the scientists are the Indian lady and the asian lady, the old "stuck in his ways" white guy and the other white guy in the game who is of course the evil villain. Then I kinda just lost interest. Some people will say that I am the problem. Well, I disagree. When you have force diversity like this and there's a clear bias to it, it just becomes annoying and tells me the focus of the developers was misplaced.

I have really enjoyed most of their games, but this one was not one of them. Very tedious gameplay, odd story, WAY too much dialogue. Not at all engaging.

This game does not look good on a modern machine. The graphics are so are so distorted that the hotspots are impossible to see properly, then you add the extremely convoluted puzzles and disjointed story means its simply not worth it.

People of color presented as smart, progressive, while whites are presented as simple-minded idiots. Every couple is either interracial or gay. And Japan - a country which chooses to limit immigration is called "ethno-fascist". Oh come on, gimme a break! I like Wadjet Eye games. I loved Shardlight. This THIS amount of woke-ism is just obnoxious.

Man ! G.N. is the best game EVER ! o/ I could play it all day long ! :-) Screw this shareware foolishness >_<, we want the full set, with all bells and whistles ! I might even consider purchasing outrageously expensive DLCs and season pass ! (Although, honestly, what I really reaaaaally want is a level editor, of course. I have a few ideas myself... ^_^) (Pretty pleaaaaase ?) As for the "other" game, I'm really enjoying it. Solid story, Ben Chandler as good as ever, Good (and logic) puzzles, good rhythm, nice music. So far it is on my top list, together with gemini rue and resonance. Thanks for all the fish. Just one more G.N., and I'll call it a day. Never gets old. Damned, I need to find a way to change this setting. *_* (Where did I put these pictures of my ex, again ?)
