Does the Job
So it's a new coat of paint for a good game~ they've updated the weapon animations but otherwise I can't see anything else changed. I would have liked a whole revamp like they did SH1, but SH2 is playable off the bat so it's a more redundant upgrade.

System Shock 2 Enhanced
Yet another quality Night Dive remaster that remakes models, textures, animations, FMVs, and so on, along with some quality of life stuff. Though if you aren't hurting for visual improvements that much, the original SS2 is about 95% identical, minus the graphical assets and a few other things. The original still plays just fine and is much cheaper if you don't feel like spending more on the remaster. As for the game itself, it's System Shock 2, a classic FPS RPG where you find various gear, upgrade stats and skills, complete objectives, and shoot mutants, cyborgs, and robots in the face. The game can be slightly cryptic at times, but most of the time the objectives are fairly straightforward.

Awesome game better than #1
Alt tab bug needs fixing. with the DX11 version I will try vulkan next time and see if it's the same way there. I am only rating because It was obnoxiously pushed in my face after a crash and I don't feel like doing it again later, so I am going to do it now, when I have the actual drive to do it, which is exceedinly rare. rejoice you got a review, one of the lucky few.

A Loving Remaster for a Classic
One of the all-time classics in sci-fi, immersive sims and survival horror gets new life with this wonderful remaster. The core game experience has remained intact but with beautiful new visuals, quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. This really feels like the best way to experience this pivotal title in the modern day. If you've shipped out with the Von Braun before, everything will feel completely familiar. If this is your first time travelling to Tau Ceti V, you're in for one hell of a ride!
