I'd love to play the game but it will not install on my system

Syberia is a classic point-and-click adventure: You're told to do something, you have to go do it, but there's always little snags and problems that you're required to solve to be able to do what you're meant to. For the most part, the game is relatively simple, albeit a little cryptic at times, but where this game really shines is its presentation, characters, and story. I was hooked on this game after Part 1, as the story and world building is top notch. The files and characters you speak to reveal a checkered and interesting past that you're chasing up to, and you're always left wanting to find out what's next. A recommended game if you're interested in adventure games with good story telling, themes, and atmosphere.

Game is okay, it stars, I can play for like 1-2 hours but have to save game every few minutes because title can crash in any moment. Any fix for that?

The game has aged badly, if we take the gameplay and graphics into consideration, but the story kept me hooked from start to finish. It hadn't happened to me for years. The puzzles are hard in the right place. There were games with such a story nowadays. I look forward to a Remake, if there ever will be one.

I find this game quite boring. There is a lot of walking back and forth and the player's character moves irritably slow when you klick on stairs or inside some rooms. There is also a lot of pointless dialogues and going somewhere just so grab something then talking again (especially in the University arc). Some riddles are illogical, some are hard to see (like mammoth drawing). When I got screwdriver I prayed that I can murder someone with it just so anything happens! This is tedious. 95% of the game you are just walking from one low-res background to another. The plot is also cut-off in the end - we got nowhere near the Syberia island.
