SWAT 3: Tactical Game of the Year Edition

Simply amazing, the gameplay is very unique. While it is supposedly similar to rainbow six, I unfortenuately don't own rainbow six, so I can't really compare the two. Either way its a fun classic. My only tiny complaint is the arrow key controls feel very awkward, and remapping them is a pain. I still enjoy it and what would seal the deal would be to have SWAT 4 on GOG. I would buy that in a heartbeat because it improved upon the already great SWAT 3. If your a fan of "Tactical" games you really should consider buying this. I'm hoping SWAT 4 will be released on GOG soon.

Resolution is all screwed up and freezes my computer when launching. Dissapointing as I really wanted to play my favorite childhood game.

Though the game has worn a little over time, I am so thrilled to be back commanding my Red and Blue Elements and fighting cime. It makes a big difference when you're trying to subdue a suspect as opposed to just blowing the hell out of everything. Great gameplay. Great voice overs( and I work in VO)! If you enjoy smart shooters, this is a superb deal!

This is another reason why I say PC games are unreliable. You never truly know if a game will work or not. Swat 3 is an otherwise great game horribly mired by very slow frame rate that forces me to switch display drivers to "SOFTWARE" which causes the graphics to take a sharp dive in quality but makes the framerate a lot faster as it should be. However, I have to switch display drivers before quitting the game otherwise the game will not load back up and I have to uninstall and reinstall in order to fix it. These hassles make the game unplayable and not worth the money. Please fix these issues as I can see by the other reviews that I am not alone in this regard.
