Events can turn out differently every game - sometimes, even if you make the same choices. Will you lose your sweetheart to a curse? Redeem, betray or consume the Genial Magician? Sell your soul to the Wistful Deviless or spurn her advances? Is the Dawn Machine your salvation, or your doom?

You are the captain. It’s your call.
  • Light and dark. Stray too far from the gas-lamps of civilisation and your crew will grow fearful and eventually lose their sanity. But there is treasure out there in the darkness…
  • Upgrade your steamship with powerful engines, flensing cannons, and pneumatic torpedo guns. Or just buy a bigger, better ship.
  • Hire unique officers like the Haunted Doctor and the Irrepressible Cannoneer. Each has a story to tell, if you can draw it out of them.

OK, if you want to read a book.

Basically a text-based adventure expanded by some exploration and battle elements. Too much to read. It is also hard to get the game started at the beginning because the tutorial does not explain exactly enough how to play the game (how to use the menues and buttons, description of icons / symbols, what is important to buy or to do is missing) Positiv: You can overwrite the permadeath concept by the option for manual saves

Low fps

I like the game but my fps is at 15-25 most of the time even with my PCs specs being well above the recommended. Iv tried lowering the quality and resolution but there was no effect. OS: Windows 10 Processor: Ryzen 5 1500 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Radeon RX580 4GB 1920x1080
