Stronghold HD

Fond memory from my childhood - game still shines. Too bad we didn't get any more of the defensive RTS games. Buy it and play it you won't regret it. Graphics is hand drawn pre-rendered it is still very nice.

Before you buy this, please note that it does not work on Windows 8.1. I hope compatibility with 8.1 and Win 10 will be patched in the future.

The game is great but it does have some flaws, such as unit control, lack of hotkeys and the fact that low level units can even destroy walls in a few seconds. However, the game is still fun and worth a try.

This is really fun and chill building strategy-but that does not mean that the game is easy. I find it kinda hard, so I just play it on "easy" to keep it very chill for myself after long day at school. But if you like a fair challange, just increase your dificulty (I had a problems to defeat a normal dificulty. This is an oldschool game). The graphics is... outdated, you cannot zoom on your army, which I kinda miss, but the HD textures make it playable and display uncluttered with random pixels. The troops are easily distinguised even on smaller screens of laptops. I got this game for free with the GOG action and I really enjoy it. I would actually recommend you to buy this game. For $6 it´s a really great game with a nice and easy to pick up gameplay.

Very good campaign design, funny story, eye-candy graphics, little stupid AI which I love it :-)
